About three months ago we ordered a sticky post from http://www.webhostingtalk.com/. Our employee's use to post there on a daily basis helping others who where asking questions about web hosting and related discussions. The Colorteck user name has over 2000 posts. We waited for about two weeks for the sticky post to go up. The sticky post never went up so we contacted Inet interactive with no response about the sticky. So we contacted Paypal about trying to do something about this as all we wanted was our ad to go up as this is what we had paid for. We where not actually interested in getting the money back but Paypal could not get a response as we could not as well.
Paypal did not get a response back from http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ or Inet interactive so they refunded the money back to us. A few days later we went to http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ to check on what was going on to find out our account has been disabled. Please view here to see the account has been disabled. Now this is one of the largest web hosting forums out there and I do not understand how they got this way by treating advertisers and forum members this way. All we wanted was what we paid for and they did not deliver the advertising so Paypal just refunded the money. Most people would expect for a company like Inet interactive and one of the largest web hosting forums to treat people a little better but as you can see we where treated like most get treated at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/,
Yesterday one of our new employee's signed up for an account who's main job is to take care of www.mycolorteck.com within an hour his account was also disabled with no reason from http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ or Inet interactive on why the account was disabled. It is sad that we have spent two years helping others on this forum only to get treated the way we have been treated. Our goal now is to warn others about http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ and Inet interactive and to save you some trouble.
If you need to advertise don't do it with http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ or Inet interactive because if they fail to give you what you paid for you may find your account disabled for getting your money back. Below I have listed some great places to advertise and hopefully will soon take over the hosting community chat and will put companies like http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ and Inet interactive under the rug where they belong. |
