Be sure to check with ensimshop.com before updating your webppliance. Some updates may render your add-ons unavailable and a patch from Ensimshop is required. If you have any of their packages installed, you will want to check with them before upgrading.

Not for the security minded.

To install the software ensimshop requires root password, root password for mysql and admin password for Ensim. It is not possible to install the software yourself, it is required that ensimshop installs it.

According to our server provider the installation broke the upgrade of Ensim from 3.5 to 3.5.10. Ensimshop denied it and required root password etc. to investigate it on the server. We tried to understand if there was anything we could do instead, but the ensimshop support was not very helpful with that.

Conclusion:

- Not for the security minded
- Lacking support, not very customer oriented.
